About BSA

Breakthrough Sports Academy is a non-profit, non-governmental sports academy located in Lusaka, Zambia. Our main objective is to introduce young Zambians to sport at community level and to give our kids a chance to play with the sport they love the most. Through some of our programs we incorporate life skills messages into sports, especially in relation to HIV/AIDS, to make our academy an arena for learning and personal development.

Breakthrough Sports Academy was established in 2002 and has expanded ever since. We hope that the development and the hard work that has been present in these first years will continue also in the future. We are very privileged to have lots of very committed and hard working staff, but the main people running Breakthrough is our kids.

BSA are running many different programs.

We hope that by promoting ourselves on the web we can get in touch with people from other parts of Zambia and from other countries that might give us some good ideas or help us in any way possible. So far we have had a few donors, and we will use this opportunity to give them a special thank you. If you are interested, or know someone who's interested in contributing, please contact us. It'll be highly appreciated!
